Exclusive Experience

You will be in a group of no more than 8 guests hosted by our tour guide.

The climb operates by appointment only and requires groups of 4 – 8 people. Please call 133 386 for availability.

The Lift Climb experience is a separate ticketed experience and does not include admission into the park prior to the climb.

Your health and safety is important to us, therefore all climbers must:

• Be over 135cm in height
• Be with a responsible parent or guardian if 13 years or under
• Have max 122cm waist (4XL)
• Have the ability to grasp with each individual hand
• Not be an expectant mother
• Not have pre-existing lower limb injuries that may prevent you from climbing a large amount of stairs
• Not suffer from heart disorders / high blood pressure
• Not be under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medications (must have a zero blood-alcohol level)
• Not suffer seizures / Epilepsy/ Vertigo

To climb you need to have a general level of health and fitness and the ability to walk up and down stairs unassisted. On the day you will be provided with a Climber Declaration Form to complete. Please be aware that even if you have made a booking we reserve the right to decline participation, rebook or modify your climb to ensure your safety.

Please ensure you are well hydrated and have eaten prior to your climb – the climb experience should last between approximately 45 -60 minutes. Wear comfortable, enclosed rubber soled shoes such as sport shoes, comfortable clothing to wear under your climb suit and your sunglasses. You will be provided with everything else you need on the day. Please check-in at the front gate turnstiles at 5:00pm for a 5:15pm climb experience.

All climbs must run on schedule and will not be held for late arrivals. A late arrival will lead to forfeiting your ticket.

The Lift Climb experience takes approximately one and a half hours. This includes your briefing, safety demonstrations and climb route, plus light refreshments at the completion of the climb.

We provide free secure storage for your items including cameras, GoPros and mobile phones. Our staff will capture a photo for you during your climb that you’ll receive at the conclusion of the experience.

In the event of heavy rain, lightning warnings and excessive wind, the climb will not proceed and alternative arrangements can be made. It is at the discretion of the staff on the day when inclement weather is approaching on whether the climb will proceed.

In most cases, yes. We do our best to make sure all climbers feel safe, secure and comfortable at all times, and we want to ensure that you have an incredible experience. To reassure you, before the climb you’ll be fitted with a harness and attached to a secure line so you can ascend the climb safe and smoothly whilst being attached to the structure at all times. It is an informative experience with up to 282 stairs at peak height of 61.4m and great views of the park and Topgolf.

All commentary will be given in English.

At the completion of the climb experience, light refreshments will be provided. Please contact Guest Services on 07 5573 8380 prior to your booking date if you have any dietary requirements.

When considering if this experience is right for your child, please consider the following:

• Safety is ALWAYS our number one priority.
• Each climber is individually fitted with a waist belt, climb suit and lanyard to fit comfortably and safely.
• Climbing the Lift is designed as an informative family experience.
• The climb is facilitated in a single file formation with a staff member at the front and rear of the group.
• The child must meet the height requirement of 135cm and the physical requirements to undertake the climb safely.
• Guests 13 years or under must be with a responsible parent or guardian.
• Parents/guardians must remain with their child at all times throughout the experience, and must assist staff in managing their equipment and behaviour throughout the climb.

Yes. Wearing hearing aids is permitted during the climb; however this is at the risk and responsibility of the guest. We encourage climbers to leave their hearing aids and devices securely in the storage area provided to prevent damage or loss while on the climb.

We do our best to help everyone climb. However, prior to booking, please read through our physical requirements to ensure all requirements are met. Alternatively, please contact Guest Services on 07 5573 8380 and our friendly team will assist in determining whether this experience is able to be accommodated.

Any essential medications, such as inhalers or diabetic medication can be taken on the climb by staff. Please advise staff on arrival.
