Overview

Warner Bros. Movie World programs aim to give students the opportunity to gain a greater knowledge and understanding of the theme park entertainment industry.

An educational based excursion to Warner Bros. Movie World allows school groups to enjoy rides, attractions and attend one of our various presentations run by our professional actors who have extensive experience in the entertainment industry.

Educational Options

GENERAL PROGRAM

Year Level: 1 - 12

Capacity: Maximum 360 pax

Time: 9.00am

Subjects: Characterisation, Improvisation, Interaction

Duration: 60 minutes (approx)

Together students discover film, television and theatre makeā€up secrets and characterisation techniques, practice professional acting methods including improvisations and learn how the world of entertainment can open the door to many exciting career opportunities. Students will also discover how they can benefit through social interaction and confidence building activities using Theatre Sports.

SCREEN ACTING PROGRAM

Year Level: 8 - 12

Capacity: Maximum 40 pax

Time: 9.00am

Subjects: Physical Warm Ups, Common Terminology, Front of Camera

Duration: 60 minutes (approx)

Hear about the experiences and training of your Show & Entertainment hosts whilst participating in some physical warm up exercises. Reinforce student’s knowledge on common film and television terminology. Participate in activities focused on senses, memory and truthfulness in front of a camera. The taped session will be given to the classroom teacher to take back to class.

TOURISM

Year Level: Various

Capacity: Maximum 40 pax

Subjects: Park Operation, Sales & Marketing, Human Resources

Duration: 45 minutes

Students will gain knowledge on the history and development of Village Roadshow Theme Parks, how the parks are operated and marketed, and how staff are selected and trained through a realistic insight into the theme park industry.
